OPEN AIR SEMINARS
Spring and Summer are wonderful times here in the sierras. Everything is blooming and the creeks and rivers are running fast. All one has to do is sit and listen to all that nature is doing around you to realize that being inside is not an option. Therefore, all seminars at Sierra Creek Studios are what’s called “Open Air Seminars.”
We believe that this will provide the student with a much richer carving experience. The smell of the apple orchard in bloom, the sounds of the birds and other wildlife busy doing what they do best.
A 16x22 ft. gazebo will be the seminar classroom allowing a 360 degree view of the surrounding area. You don’t have to worry about inclement weather the gazebo has walls that can be attached. Here at Sierra Creek Studios we want to make your carving experience the best you’ve ever had. If you have special needs please let us know so we can do our best to accommodate you.

THINGS TO DO
During all ten day seminars there’s a one day break where students can explore the area and decompress from the previous five days of intense instruction. They may want to explore Yosemite Valley for the day, take a hike in the surrounding mountains to waterfalls or spend the day shopping and exploring Oakhurst.
What ever they decide to do we encourage them not to spend it in the classroom. We want them not only to be refreshed when they come back to class. We want them to experience what we feel everyday in the “Sierra’s.” |
